A delegation of high level officials from the Finance Ministry, led by Amir Levi, director of the ministry’s Budgets Department, visited the Mesila offices last week.
The purpose of the visit was to better understand businesses in the Haredi sector and to meet Haredi business owners. Drawing on its extensive experience, Mesila presented inside knowledge of the sector while the business owners spoke about the challenges they face.
The visitors from the Finance Ministry expressed wonder and enthusiasm at what was being done at Mesila to promote economic growth in business, as well as personal finance counseling and education, and acknowledged Mesila as a go-to address for expertise within the Haredi sector.
